Echo of Death

Hot on the heels of The Confessions of a Deliveryman comes Echo of Death, Lee Ball's second novel.

When Donald Mason, a notorious drunk, walks into a police station and claims to have seen an actress long believed dead, it's only the beginning of Inspector Bosko's problems. Haunted by the suicide of a vulnerable young woman and only a few weeks from his retirement, Bosko is reluctant to listen to the rantings of the one time actor. But when there's a triple murder and it looks like Mason is involved, the inspector has little choice but to investigate. It isn't long before Bosko discovers that Mason is innocent and powerful figures in government and beyond are going to great lengths to hinder his own investigation.

Are Mason's claims that Dorothy Kite is alive, true? And if so, is it really connected to the SAS led Oman coup of the early seventies? From London to the finale of the Edinburgh Festival, Bosko is racing against time to save Mason from ruthless assassins and from his own demons.

Echo of Death will be released on 26th of April, 2013.
